The lake
This mature lake is rich naturally balanced silt bottomed lake and features beautiful tree lined margins and various attractive lily pads. The depth of the water varies from 5 feet to14 feet at its deepest point. This lake has a history as being a favourite fishing haunt for pike, perch and various other species of fish. The lake has more recently been well stocked and used as a carp fishery. The Fish The lake is stocked with over 300 CARP mainly mirrors and commons and many being over 15/20lb in weight. The record stands at around 36lb. Casual carp fishing generally provides an average catch of between 25lb to 35lbs.
The Swims There are 8 swims (4 double and 4 single) in place with easy access from the service driveways and amenity block. Lily pads and overhanging trees ensure excellent margin fishing. The grounds are landscaped and provide most enjoyable surrounds. Easy access to all swims.
