No Really!

There! I feel better now that's off my chest...You see, we are often asked by visitors to our site and telephone callers how much we charge for the service we offer. Even though I flag it up on almost every page on our websites...people are still not convinced...We would love to take money from you - but it's not the way it works....Our service is, of course free. Catch? No Catch!
Here is how and why...

...It all started (10 years ago) with just 25 houses with just one fledgling agent in Brittany....But now we have almost 2,000 properties with 30plus agents covering Brittany, Normandy. The agents, in turn, have approached us and asked if we can represent them by placing their properties on our websites in order to attract increased traffic to their offices and their properties (we get 15,000 unique visitors to our websites every month)...and, like I said you don't pay us. So who does? Well, when we introduce a client who buys a property via them the Immobilier pays us a commission from their own agency fees. For them it’s a form of advertising which they only have to pay for when it works. (sounds like a brilliant deal to me).

Similarly vendors who have discovered our sites eg:- on a Google search or in a magazine advert, approach us to see if they can place their houses on our sites...
They can...The only proviso is that we have an agent who is fairly local to the property. Our partner/agent visits the vendor in order to photograph, prepare details and sign a mandat (a contract) between them. There are some agents (but we only work with one within this category) who actually add an additional fee (some as much as 7% extra) to cover additional services...This, they say, covers legal advice, translation services at the acte finale meeting at the Notaire’s office and connection of services to the property (electricity, water, telephone, internet etc.,) But our agents (with that one exception) offer these services as part and parcel of their services and charge nothing more.

You will not pay any less for your property by going direct to an agent based
in Brittany, Normandy or the Loire... and...(be warned) you could pay considerably more.
